July 2010
Dear Friends:
Today more than ever, emerging leaders are becoming part of a great intellectual adventure, an adventure in significance.
In April, when Leader to Leader participated in the 2010 Global Pulse, one of the largest forums was Inspiring a New Generation. Among the ideas discussed by students to promote global citizenship included the use of the Internet to connect youth around the world to collaborate on projects.
The workforce of the future was brought up in a fast-moving world. Their fingers are on the pulse of changing technology. They multi-task and enjoy a challenge.
Leader to Leader is constantly seeking new ways to share information with leaders of the future. We invite young leaders to view and participate in Leadership Dialogues - our growing online video-library of leadership insights.
We are excited to announce another online learning opportunity: The Global Dialogue Center has created a visual self-learning gallery exhibit, Leadership By Example. We have highlighted it in this newsletter and we encourage you to view this online leadership exhibit.
July 9-13, Leader to Leader will be in Pittsburgh for the second annual Student Leadership Summit of the University of Pittsburgh Hesselbein Global Academy for Student Leadership and Civic engagement. Fifty student leaders, 25 from the USA and 25 from abroad, will gather to learn how to be more effective, ethical, and global innovative leaders.
We look forward to sharing our experiences with you in our next newsletter.
Sincerely,
The Leader to Leader Institute
